The joint-stock company "Elektros darbai" was established in 1993, although it had already started its activity in 1948 as a maintenance construction office under the Executive Committee of Kaunas city.

Presently, 108 workers work in the enterprise: 8 brigades of electric work and 1 brigade of ventilation-air conditioning work, a projecting group, administration and production workers. Professional experience of activity, necessary qualification by the workers and modern technology of mounting work helps the enterprise to perform electric mounting work qualitatively and reliably.

As the enterprise was expanding, its branch was established in Vilnius in 2000 and the department of ventilation-air conditioning was established in Kaunas, one more branch was established in Klaipeda in 2007 .

In 2003 the joint-stock company “Elektros darbai“ became a member of the National Electricity Technology Business Association.

In 2004 the quality management systems ISO 9001:2000 and environmental protection management systems ISO 14001:1996 were implemented in the enterprise by trying to ensure the highest quality of services provided and influence the environment negatively as little as possible.

The customers of the joint-stock company „Elektros darbai“ are the companies well-known in Lithuania: state enterprises Vilnius International Airport and Kaunas Airport, stock companies „RST“, „VST“, „Lietuvos energija“, „Achema“, „Spindulys“, joint-stock companies „Kaminta“, „Pentacom“, „Keliu remonto grupe“, “Merko statyba”, “Umaras”, “Statybos projektu valdymas”, “Statybu strategija".
